Was busy this past week drawing at a wedding in Virginia and also drawing the guests at the Grove Park Inn Hotel in Asheville. Here are two of my caricatures.

Tilda Swinton Caricature

On the ISCA forum there is a section called "Let's Draw". For almost a year Jan Op de beeck from Belgium has posted challenges to draw different people on their birthday. November 5th was actor Tilda Swintin and here is my effort done in pencil.

Another ISCA Convention Video

Here is another video I filmed of the activities at the 2009 ISCA convention. This was my fourth caricature convention and each one gets better. As a member of the International Society of Caricature Artists I have met many new friends. My work has improved by attending workshops and watching the other artists create their artwork.

2009 ISCA Convention

Last week I participated in the International Society of Caricature Artists convention. It was held in Sandusky, Ohio at the Kalahari Resort. Here are my caricatures I created. I was number 149. For a change I did most of my work in watercolor. I also made a shadow box caricature for the 3D category. Watching all the other artist at the convention working hard makes me want to do my best. I was happy with the direction of my work and see room for improvement.
