Caricature Convention and many events

From November 8th to the 13th I attended the International Society of Caricature Artist's annual convention. It was held in Sandusky, Ohio at the Kalahari Resort. Over 175 caricaturists attended who drew many caricatures of each other. Here I am next to my wall of work. I have also been busy drawing at many events and creating illustrations and also did a graphic painting.

Columbia Bridal Showcase

Recently I attended the 33rd annual St. Andrew Woman's Club Bridal Showcase held in Columbia,SC. I talk to brides about my caricature entertainment for their weddings. Everyone say "What a great idea, I would never have thought of hiring a caricature artist for my wedding! Couples at the showcase enjoy being drawn and here are a few of my caricatures.

Boxers

Here are two boxers I illustrated in watercolors. Used black ink for the outlines. These are not portraits. I exaggerated the bodies and features. You can see the changes I made from the photos.

Wedding Painting

looking for something unique for your wedding day? Here is a watercolor painting I did at a wedding held in Asheville,NC at the Grove Park Inn. I took photos and sketches the day before at the rehearsal. The next day I finished the drawing before the ceremony and started painting. After the ceremony I finished the painting at the reception.
