2015 ISCA Convention

I attended the 24th annual ISCA (International Society of Caricature Artists) convention from November 8th to the 13th and I made this video. The convention was held in the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio. Visiting speakers were Torren Thomas, C.F. Payne and Jason Seiler. Over 175 caricaturists from all over the US and also other countries attended. At the convention the artists listen to presentations, compete in drawing contests and draw each other. In the video you can see the artists working in the large ballroom and hanging up their drawings.

Caricature Convention and many events

From November 8th to the 13th I attended the International Society of Caricature Artist's annual convention. It was held in Sandusky, Ohio at the Kalahari Resort. Over 175 caricaturists attended who drew many caricatures of each other. Here I am next to my wall of work. I have also been busy drawing at many events and creating illustrations and also did a graphic painting.

New Illustration Projects

I have been busy working in my studio on various projects and here are some of them. The first one is a personal watercolor gift caricature I completed from the client's photos. Then a soccer theme caricature, a 75th birthday gift caricature, a Lincoln t-shirt design with the initial sketch, three "flip" caricatures showing the closed and open images, another caricature and lastly one of 10 caricature illustrations to honor an employee. These client's found me online to work on their various projects.

So Many Events!

I have been so busy drawing caricatures at so many events here is what I have been up to. Starting at the top here I attended a wedding expo in Greenville,SC, my last wedding of 2014 in Cleveland,NC, drawing dog cartoons for Perfect Bark, caricatures for Beta Alpha Psi at the University of NC at Greensboro, drawing students at A & T University in Greensboro and finally a holiday company party for Bonset American Group.
